About the Role:
ComForCare Home Health Care - Brantford is looking for a compassionate and dedicated Personal Support Worker (PSW) to join our growing team in BRANTFORD, ON. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of clients by providing essential care and support right in the comfort of their own homes. Responsibilities:
- Provide personal care assistance including bathing, grooming, dressing, and hygiene support
- Assist clients with mobility, transfers, and ambulation to ensure safety and comfort
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding as required
- Perform light housekeeping duties including laundry, cleaning, and tidying
- Monitor and document client health status and report changes to the care team
- Offer companionship and emotional support to clients and their families
- Assist with medication reminders and adherence to care plans
Requirements:
- Valid Personal Support Worker (PSW) certificate from an accredited Ontario program
- Previous experience in home care, long-term care, or a related healthcare setting preferred
- Current CPR and First Aid certification
- Reliable transportation and valid driver's license to travel to client homes in Burford and surrounding areas
- Strong communication skills and a compassionate, patient-centered approach
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with a care team
- Vulnerable Sector Check (VSC) required or willingness to obtain

Compensation: $17.95 - $22.00 per hour
